The Star Destroyer was the signature disc of Avery Jenkins until late 2015, when Avery’s signature was transferred to the Star TeeBird and the 4-time World Champion Paul McBeth got his name on the “holy grail of distance drivers”. These discs come from the final run of the Avery Destoryer. They feature a softer blend of Star plastic than usual. Flight-wise, these Destroyers are less overstable than your regular Star Destroyer, which has made these Destroyers very popular among a huge group of players.
These discs that are available at this time feature a very low profile and some of the lower weights have signs of Blizzard bubbles on the rims.
The Destroyer is a fast, stable power driver with significant glide. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. It’s also without a doubt the most popular Pro level distance driver in the world.
