Leo Piironen EDGC Luster C-line PD2
Two-time Finnish champion (2012 & 2016) and reigning European champion, Leo Piironen, has his signature disc now available! This special release commemorates Leo Piironen’s freshly acquired European Champion title.
Lets get straight to the point. If you need a wind fighter, a disc that makes big skips possible, and something you know will fade no matter what grab this Luster C-line version of PD2. Its flight path is very true to the flight numbers. This disc has a quite flat profile and it feels really firm in your hand. There’s varying amounts of microbubbles embedded inside the rim of each disc to allow the production of this wide-rim driver in PDGA legal weights.
A substantial amount of each disc sold will be directed towards Leo Piironen’s touring efforts.
Let’s face it – the PD2 is not meant for everyone. Picture Innova’s Xcaliber with a little more speed and stability and you’ll know what this disc is like. It is abnormally fast for the stability it offers. Targeted for the strong-armed touring pro, this disc is very reliable thrown backhand, forehand and overhead in pretty much all conditions. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and endure damage very well. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Discs in the C-line material tend to be more overstable than same discs in base line plastics.
