Huk Lab Stamped Metal Flake C-line PD2
This thing is a beast. Limited run crazy overstable PD2 in Metal Flake C-line plastic now available!
Without a doubt, these PD2’s find their place at the most overstable end of the PD2 spectrum. Just feeling one in your hand will give you a clear idea on what this disc will do. These babies want to fade, and fade they do. The closest comparison out there for this disc is the Innova MAX. Not surprisingly, team Discmania’s young star Eagle McMahon replaced his old Metal Flake MAXes with the Metal Flake C-line PD2.
The low profile on these will allow them to fly a little faster than your average PD2 and the plastic has a great grip to it, despite being stiff and super-durable. In addition to the Metal Flakes embedded in the plastic material, you can also spot some Blizzard bubbles inside the rim, injected there to allow production of this meat hook driver in PDGA approved weights.
Great for windy days, spike hyzers, sidearms – you name it! Limited availability.
Let’s face it – the PD2 is not meant for everyone. Picture Innova’s Xcaliber with a little more speed and stability and you’ll know what this disc is like. It is abnormally fast for the stability it offers. Targeted for the strong-armed touring pro, this disc is very reliable thrown backhand, forehand and overhead in pretty much all conditions. Discmania's most durable plastic – these discs wear down very slowly. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and endure damage very well. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Discs in the C-line material tend to be more overstable than same discs in base line plastics.
