Philo Brathwaite Tour Series Swirly Star Destroyer
After throwing the "Shot Seen Around The World" at the 2016 Beaver State Fling with his 168 gram Star Destroyer, the Star Destroyer was a natural fit for his first Tour Series disc. Who says Pro's only throw heavy discs?
These Destroyers have a soft, grippy feel, and, with all discs being in the 167-169 gram weight range, will glide through the air with ease for maximum distance. An Albatross is not guaranteed, but definitely more likely! A significant portion of each sale will go directly to Philo to assist his touring efforts.
The Destroyer is a fast, stable power driver with significant glide. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. A substantial portion of each sale will benefit David Wiggins and his touring efforts.
The Swirly Star plastic used in these discs is pretty soft and grippy. You can also notice some blisters on the rims due to Blizzard bubbles being used within the plastic. These discs also feature a fairly moderate dome. Stability wise these are not the most overstable Destroyers out there, but still require quite a bit of arm speed to show that -1 turn off the tee.
Please note that each disc is unique and colors will vary from disc to disc. Most of these discs have a red or purple colour scheme. You can choose the disc weight and the stamp colour in the drop down menu below.
The Destroyer is a very fast stable long distance driver. This disc is much like a faster Wraith, but with a little more high and low speed stability. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Not suggested for beginning players.
