Vintage plastic alert! Very limited availability – grab a stack at once, as these will not be easy to come across in the future.
As the title says, these TeeBirds come from an era prior to the introduction of the clear, and fairly overstable, Jolly Launcher Champion material. The plastic used in these discs is noticeably softer than on the more recent runs of the Champion TeeBird and a lot more opaque. They also feature a fairly sizeable dome (not pop-top, though), that gives these TeeBirds a lot of glide. Stability-wise, these TeeBirds are a lot less overstable than the more recent runs of the Champion TeeBird.
The TeeBird is excellent for pin-point accuracy or distance. It’s likely our most accurate and reliable driver, preferred fairway driver of 12 time world champion Ken Climo. It has a combination of straight flight, high glide and good speed that make it accurate and long flying both upwind and downwind.
