The DD2 might be one of the lesser known Discmania brand distance drivers these days, but for no reason! The DD2 is Discmania's fastest disc and it likes to fly far. It's got a great glide to it and thanks to it's speed and overstability, most players can even use it to tackle headwind.
Given the overstable to stable nature of the disc, Discmania wanted to create something that flies true to the runs of DD2 that players like best. Though these bad boys still need a fairly stiff throw to get the desired result, you will find that this blend is slightly more understable than the latest C-Line runs.
This disc represents the 2nd specialty run made of the DD2 in Metal Flake C-line material, molded in late 2017. The first run of these dates back all the way to 2011, when a small and highly collectible fundraiser run of the Metal Flake DD2 was created to raise funds for the 2011 Disc Golf Presidents Cup.

Discmania's most durable plastic – these discs wear down very slowly. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and endure damage very well. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Discs in the C-line material tend to be more overstable than same discs in base line plastics.
