Avery Jenkins is known as the 2009 disc world champion and one of the top ambassadors of the sport across the globe. Avery is a veteran of Team Discmania and one of his favourite Discmania molds has always been the PD. It's only suiting that the very first specialty run of the PD in popular Colour Glow C-line material is dedicated as a signature release for AJ himself.
Flight-wise, these PD's perform exactly the way you'd expect from a low-profile (practically flat) C-line plastic PD: They can handle a headwind without turning over, they pack a great straight forward penetrating glide and have a dependable and accurate fade at the end. We've already heard these being compared to the legendary First Run C-line PD's and admittedly, those comparisons are not too far off.
The Colour Glow C-line plastic material provides just the right amount of grip and durability and the profile is very low, practically flat. This makes these discs perfect for both backhand and sidearm. This plastic also glows in the dark!
These discs represent the first specialty run ever produced of the PD with the popular Colour Glow C-line material. This run was produced in Mid-2018.
The PD is perhaps Discmania's most versatile driver, good for many different uses. When new, it is pretty overstable, but in different plastic types and stages of wear it can attack several different lines. It is good for hyzer shots, flicks, S-curves and so on. Many top ranked players in the world have one or more PDs in their bag for different situations.
