Whereas the average C-line MD4's tend to feature an aggressively flat flight plate, these Metal Flake C-line versions have a tiny bit of dome to them. Despite the mild dome, they still feature very low profile that gives them a great feel and grip.
In terms of flight characteristics, these Metal Flake MD4's are a touch more overstable than your regular C-line MD4's. They are a perfect fit between the straighter flying mid like the MD or the MD3 and the popular meathook mids like the MD5 or Innova Gator.
These discs represent the very first specialty run MD4's made with the Metal Flake C-line material. These discs were produced in Fall 2018 (Late 2018 Run).
The MD4 is the overstable brother of the MD3. It has a blunt nose with that standard MD3 micro-bead giving it a familiar feel in the hand. Not only is the MD4 overstable, but it also has a surprising amount of glide, allowing your shots to fade more while still maintaining predictability.
