A small set of "Not-So-Swirly" S-line MD5's now available with the combined Heart Discmania and Team Discmania stamps. A significant part of the proceeds from these sales will go directly to those on Team Discmania to help them when they cannot get income by playing in tournaments. As the world fights the global Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the disc golf community, including those on Team Discmania, are wondering what to do as their main source of income is put on hold for the foreseeable future. As a company we knew we wanted to do something to help those on Team Discmania. We've also heard from disc golfers everywhere asking how they can show their support. In fact, the call for a way to support Team Discmania has been quite overwhelming. To answer that call, we're releasing the limited Heart Team Discmania collection.
This is most likely to most overstable run of the MD5 ever made - a midrange disc fit for even the highest of winds! These discs come from the same run as the Special Edition release from late 2019. It's the first ever Specialty Run of the MD5 made with S-line material. These discs have been produced during Summer 2019 (Mid 2019 Run).
The MD5 is an overstable mid with a flight designed to give the trustworthy stable fade that players are looking for. Great for reliable fairway approaches, huge hyzer lines, and dependable flicks, the MD5 is made to handle power.
This specialty run of the MD5 in "Not-so-swirly" S-line material maintains a similar flight pattern to other MD5’s but has a touch more stability. You’ll notice this run of MD5 start to fade a little sooner and faster when compared to other runs of MD5 by Fall 2019. This disc features a very low profile and a bead in the bottom part of the rim that allows it to consistently release smoothly from the hand.
Please note that despite these discs carry the "Swirl S-line" stamp, they actually came out mostly in solid colours. We tried to do our best to list the colours as accurately as possible, so you know what you'll get :)
